Michael J. Hines is finance Management professional with over 20 years of accounting and finance experience in banking, strategic planning, budgeting, financial analysis, forecasting, market trend analysis, and consulting. Corporate management experience in debt restructuring with proven results and strong relationship building skills with clients and the community as a whole. Developed New Linked Deposit Instrument for Real Estate Developers with Line of Credit which brought in $329,000 deposit with $10,000 in interest revenue annually Originates commercial business lending activity; Lines of Credit, Real Estate & Term Loans, Letters of Credit and Equipment Leases, Underwrites and Cross Sales Bank Services to for-profit and non-profit organizations. Provides technical assistance to non-profit organizations and small business customers located/or intending to locate in the low-income areas of the community. Made comparisons to corporate plan of income earnings assets for senior management. Single-handedly ran Eastern Region Administration Finance Department for Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia. Discovered $50 million in assets that strengthened Line of Business Asset Base and generated $2 million in annual revenue.
Mr. Hines has worked with startup and existing small businesses in the areas accounting, financial analysis, and human resources. Provided guidance to clients on a contract basis in order to improve their profits.
As a Financial Manager for a $1billion real estate management company Mr. Hines provided debt restructuring, financial and variance analysis, forecasting and general ledger analysis. Saved corporation an estimated $75 million in losses by reorganizing business segments in the southeastern United States. As Assistant Controller, managed a staff of 30 and assisted in transition of Florida company operations to Ohio.
Mr. Hines was a consultant with Big 6 Management Consulting Firm, he supported the Project Manager and top management of the
CRIS-E project by directing $11.5 million budget (Budgeted Areas: Detail System Design, Programming, Quality Assurance, System Implementation and supervising administrative staff. Two major projects were the automation of the State of Ohio’s welfare system and collection of its third party liability payments for processing. Developed Standard Cost Tracking System to monitor project expenses and maintain profitability.
