BIOGRAPHY

OF

JOSEPH HOLLIMAN, III
 

 

 

Joseph Holliman, III is a seasoned management professional with over 20 years combined experience in the areas of project management, training and development, change management, facilitator development, policy development, business/fiscal management, and international procurement management.  He is also a result oriented accomplished motivational public speaker on change management and organizational behavior and development. 
 
Mr. Holliman currently serves as the state project management lead of training and development for The State of Ohio, Ohio Administrative Knowledge System (OAKS), with a project budget of over 158 million dollars.  The OAKS project is the State of Ohio ’s statewide ERP implementation of PeopleSoft, transforming the way Ohio does business directly impacting the human capital and financial management of the state’s 3.2 trillion dollar budget.  Holliman directly overseas courseware development, training deployment, and delivery for over 10,000 end users of OAKS.  He also manages and is an active facilitator of the project’s intense Train-the-Trainer program, preparing over 300 state resources to become instructors of the human capital and financial management modules of OAKS.    Mr. Holliman’s philosophy, unique style, and approach to positively motivating workforces to success has yielded survey approval ratings of over 95% on the project.  Prior to the OAKS project, Holliman served as a payroll administration accountant for the Department of Administrative Services, overseeing, on average, over 70 million dollars in bi-weekly payroll payments for over 60 thousand state employees.
 
Mr. Holliman has also served as the manager of purchasing and procurement for The Stewart MacDonald Company, the worlds leading supplier to the Luthier industry.  There he managed the company’s purchasing and production supply operations, which included extensive contract negotiations and collaborations with domestic and international suppliers. Prior to Stewart MacDonald, Holliman served as the chief financial and human resources officer for a small news-weekly in southeastern Ohio , and as an accountant for Time-Warner Communication of Columbus. It was prior to his service to Time-Warner that Holliman found his passion for training and development working for the Fifth Third Bank of Columbus .  Mr. Holliman was extremely instrumental in the development of the teller training program deployed by the bank when it entered the Columbus market in the early nineties.  Other notable professional accomplishments include:

Mr. Holliman completed his undergraduate in Business Administration, with a concentration in Information Systems at DeVry University Columbus.  He also obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Human Resources Management from DeVry University of Columbus.  In addition, he is currently working on a certification in Project Management.  Mr. Holliman is an avid volunteered for the State of Ohio ’s Operation Feed Campaign, serving as a divisional coordinator for the Department of Administrative Services (DAS) and OAKS.  He has also served on the DAS Wellness Task Force, where he was the principle author of the agencies health and wellness plan which later became the plan model for several other agencies with Ohio state government.  Joseph is a proud and devoted father to his 14 year old son and resides in Whitehall , Ohio .
